The most populous of the world's continents, the Galbadian Continent is home to the Galbadian Republic, which occupies neighbouring Dollet and Timber. Roads and railroads connect to Balamb (via an underwater tunnel) and Esthar (via the Horizon Bridge).

A country on the northern continent. Largely desolate, Trabia is host to the Shumi Village, on Winter Island, and a number of small towns, including Nebal near Trabia Garden. The harsh, frozen climate also creates an optimal habitat for Moombas.

This continent was home to a civilization 4000 years ago that emigrated to other continents and founded the Dollet Empire to the west and Esthar to the east. Centra was devastated 80 years ago by a Lunar Cry. No human settlements remain inhabited.
